  how do you change your perspective?

  several months ago i was at an all time low.

  i didn't know how to interact with life.

  stuck in a big hole under a big rock.

  Interesting points wings. Films can certainly affect one greatly.
  
  I guess my perspective changed gradually as my research ran its course, which was some months. And now I'm just trying to live life and let the old shit fade away.
  
  By the way, I expect you know ninja's comment was tongue in cheek - he has a great sense of humour. :) ninja: I still haven't been properly drunk, but it may happen over the next few weeks as I'm going away for a weekend with some German beer-drinkers. :D

  Older/hard-line Witnesses: disappointed and confused; will manage to bring their thinking in line with Mothership at some point in the not too distant future.
  
  Younger/more normal Witneses: a little surprised; inwardly over the moon; will not have any trouble adjusting as less is required.
  
  Witnesses with a vestige of thinking ability: wondering how it fits in with Hebrews 10:25.

  I can send you emails telling you not to go back if you want. But they won't be any more a sign of God than the ones from your sister.
  
  I don't know your background, but have you really researched the bible and what it says? If so, you should know that what Jehovah's Witnesses believe and preach is anything but the truth. No one should need a high control group to structure their family life and support their child.

  i had many days like this but i will never forget the time that a 'prominent elder' publicaly declared that he wants to see the worldly people die at armaggeddon.

  "i hope that i can look out the window & watch it all happening".

  i went home and thought; 'wtf am i a part of here'?

  Why did Abel offer "fatty pieces" to Yahweh?

  from my understanding--at least from my instruction from the wbts--humans were not permitted to eat meat by yahweh until after the flood.

  if that is true, then why would abel offer tasty, delicious "fatty pieces" to yahweh?

  how would abel even know how to cut up an animal for food and know which parts were the best for eating?.

  FRIDAY AT LAST...............TGIF

  i just thought it might be interesting to see what everyone has planned for the weekend.

  tonight is our last night of our mixed doubles bowling league.

  we get the money for the how we did this past season, ach, that's ok. .

  Staying with my girlfriend at the moment.
  
  Sat: Birthday party (I've been told the food is going to especially good).
  
  Sun: Meal at her parents (and her Dad used to work as a chef).
  
  Yum. :)
  
  We're both busy with work stuff at the moment, so I expect we'll be spending some time on that too.
